Accessibility of EAACheck

Information about this service's accessibility as required by section 35 and Annex 4 of the Danish Accessibility Act (Article 13 and Annex V of the directive) (Act no. 801 of 7 June 2022, implementing the European Accessibility Act).

Conformance status

EAACheck is partially conformant with EN 301 549 (built on WCAG 2.1 AA). We run the same automated checks on our own pages that we sell to customers — but automated testing covers only ~30-40% of the requirements, and we have not yet completed a full manual audit (e.g. screen-reader testing and colour contrast in all states).

What we have done

• Every page works with a keyboard alone; a "Skip to content" link is the first element on each page.
• Proper heading structure, semantic landmarks (<header>, <main>, <footer>) and real <label> elements on all form fields.
• No autoplay, no zoom blocking, no time limits, no flashing content.
• Our own scanner runs against this site before every change, and findings are fixed before publishing.

Known limitations

• No manual screen-reader walkthrough has been performed yet.
• Colour contrast is now measured automatically on solid backgrounds, but contrast on top of images and the overall screen-reader experience have not been manually verified yet.

Supervisory authority

The Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen) supervises the Accessibility Act for e-commerce in Denmark. If you are not satisfied with how we handle an accessibility enquiry, you can complain to the Authority.
